Digital Photography: Adobe Photoshop
One of the real benefits of digital photography is the ease with which a photograph can be tweaked or manipulated once it has been taken. Whilst some photography purists question the validity of this, to an extent it has always happened - the film photographer can make use of a variety of darkroom techniques to adjust the exposure, colour, tone and look of the final print.
By far the most powerful program available to the digital photographer is Adobe Photoshop, now in its 8th iteration (Adobe Photoshop CS). Many of the functions of Photoshop are also available in its little brother, Adobe Photoshop Elements. The tutorials and articles in this section are based on Adobe Photoshop CS - but most are applicable to earlier versions of Photoshop or to Photoshop Elements. Tips and Articles |
